Hey,

Any of you who have GNs I have a question for you. I'm in need of a stock GN turbo inlet.... the two bolt inlet snout that goes on the front of the compressor section. As long as its useable, no biggie.... I have a new turbo and i needs me one.

I don't have one, sorry. Neutral I got rid of my stock turbo a while ago.

Maybe you know this already, but the stock inlet bells have a port for the valvecover breather. You'd have to have it ground off & welded shut. By the time you do & pay for that, you'd probably be better off to buy a new bell without the port. They are about $75

Yep, I knew that! The Thunderbird actually uses the same system. The port on the T-bird snout is actually threaded, with a metal line with a small length of hose connecting it to the can on the valve cover. I'm going yo acme machining tomorow to see if I can just get a couple flanges made. I really want to go to HWY100 this next weekend, so I need to get this on the car and running right before then.

I'd vote for a new one, part of your problem has been fixing this thing si9nce it has been cobbled together. $75 isn't that bad, you have well more then 10X that now. My two wooden nickels

Awww..... That sucks.

Anyways, The housings are exactly the same with the exception of the flanges..... so I had the top flange milled off to fit a hose, and I DID find a GN snout for 15 bucks, so I'm GTG.
