This will ring a bell with our older members. If you ever picked up a Hot Rod/ Car craft Magazine circa early 2000's and before, then near the front of each magazine, was an add for PAW. PAW was a west coast automotive distributor that provided parts to would be racers. It was the Summit before their was a Summit. A place where you could get anything automotive for your car. It was also apparently open damn near all the time! I can remember calling them for stuff on my brothers Road Runner late evenings even on Sunday. It also was the only place that I saw a complete long block 440 engine with machine work done go shipped to your house mind you at $1995, now this was as late as 2004!

Sadly they closed their doors in early part of August 2010. RIP PAW! Sad

Mike

Damn that does suck. Most of our members here won't have any idea who they where or how cool they were. Summit can suck a dick compared to these guys. Its sad to see good companies go.

I bought parts from PAW back in the day. Good customer service, someone always spoke English, and if you needed it, they had it Smile

Well.....might as well keep a hold of them. Anyone seen one of their parts catalogs? If not, the moment you see one you'll laugh. Its about as big as a fucking phone book and as thick!

I haven't heard that name in a while. I made many wish lists from them.
