| its a truly tragic situation that we have come to in this world. I would say 98% of the cars I work on at work are auto. | |

| Shit I remember when it was common practice to have a manual. In fact I learned to drive with was an old Old cutlass with three on the tree. Auto's were for pussies

| I'm pretty sad that I don't have a manual at the moment. an auto is nice every once in a while, but god damnit it's so boring. | |

| Piss on all of yah! So my scheme of my wife driving my car here and there never materialized.... only real reason why the GTO is an auto, plus the autos are faster I'm I still happy with the auto... most of the time. I learned to drive a stick..... like I bought the car on my 16th b-day, it was driven to an area and I had to learn enough there to get it home. Had a manual for '93. Then from '95 through '07. It was time for something a little different.... this damn age thing. | |

| For me it depends on the car, and how it is to be driven. I would definately rather have an A4 over M6 in an fbody, but a Subaru or Honda w/ an auto = limp dick | |

Agreed. Take Mikey's car for example, B Body Mopar's are awesome vehicles, but A) How many of you have ever driven one, and B) of those people, who as driven one with a manual? Its not bad, but in a racing application it sucks balls. An auto is more prominent in that vehicle. Now, if I were to purchase a new Challenger, I would still follow Mikey's path and buy that car only with a manual. Out of all the cars and trucks I've had, only 3 had a manual transmission (Stratus R/T, Cuda, Sonoma). I learned to drive stick on an Eaton Fuller 9sp in a Freightliner Semi. Even for the rob of hp they are, I still prefer an auto in a race application. |

| I drove a B body on squeeze with a 3 speed reverse manual valve body for awhile. Does that count as a manual? Haha | |

| LOL, sorry no, but now I'm vaguely interested to know about this B body..
Look for me I like both its just happens that the coronet came with an auto so I went with what I got. now I've driven mopar B bodies with sticks and it adds another component to drag racing. To each there own, but for me its just what the coronet came with so I did with what I had.
