Bought another car

'90 325i for four bills off craigslist. young girl in Madison, got a new Jeep Patriot and just wanted to get rid of this. So now I have two bimmers for autoX. One for me and one for my other brother Troy. Too nice to put into LeMon's action, may make it a SpecE30 car for the track, or ITS for W2W.

Had a blast driving it home in the snow today. Never even checked it out, just too good of a deal to pass up and got lucky, it is a nice ride.

Holy crap you stole that thing! I have always wanted one of those, mostly sentimental reasons though.

Nothing crazy right away. Fix the transmission, third gear is tough to live without and the hood won't close properly. Which is why I think she unloaded it on a quick sale. That and I think Daddy pays her bills so she didn't care. I think we will upgrade the brakes first, get them squared away. Get the body cleaned up and put some paint on it. Basic maintenance then start slowly turning it into a track car. Tons of E30's on the track and parts are easy to find. I always wanted to put the 320i (E21) on the track for W2W but it would be much more costly compared to a E30.

I'm sure my brother (my other brother who doesn't own the FFRCobra) will rock the hell out of it this summer. He threw in two bills so he could be half owner. Which means he will buy parts and I will build the car. Same way we did it for the 320i I have. He threw some money at that so he could rock the hell out of it when he was around.

Front end pic, I took the center grille out so it wouldn't get smashed, the hood opens too far and everyone is playing fuck-fuck with the car since I got it here. I swear to God what the hell is it with people flocking to something different.

Since I pulled it in this morning it has become the new lean on vehicle in the shop, now instead of sitting their ass against the 320i...before I stuffed that in the shop for the winter everyone wanted to plant their ass against the Edsel.

Yes, I know we don't have the cleanest, most beautiful shop in the world but I do really care about people putting belt buckles against fenders.

I Agree. I can't stand it when I'm at a weekend meet in the summer and people don't have the common fucking sense NOT to sit on someone elses car. I had to polish out bluejean rivet-marks on my BLACK car last summer. i was fucking pissed.

Thanks guys. No, no rust at all. Amazingly clean, it spent many years in Cali I was told.

Blackout, I love the 320i's also, quirky little car, it never got much love in the BMW world though.

Yeah an S50b32 with an OBD1 swap and an M50 mani would be sick! Or maybe even ITB's....
