Well I'll say he did it the hard way.

I got a the Lilliput 7" with touchscreen.. it has VGA, RCA Video and audio, and wired it up to my mac mini. I planned on putting that in the itr but never got around to doing it. I'll be rocking it next summer though.

Pretty bad ass. I agree, there are ways of doing that with a lot less fabrication than he did. A Mac mini would work very well.

Even a Mac mini is overkill, i can do all that shit on my phone that plugs right into my car.

Video (yes the screen is smaller)
Streaming Radio
Internet Access
GPS
Even a police scanner

You just can't beat a good phone for simplicity and massive functionality

Well.... good point, i can do all that on my phone too, but having a fully functional PC in the car is pretty neat.

Yeh it is overkill but I think he was going for that in a way. My favorite part about it all is that if you saw it in a parking lot or even sat in it, you'd never even suspect.
