| I would go for General Altimax Arctic's. really good user reviews, and only $86/each for the 205/55 on Tirerack.com. they always ship really fast as well. | |

| Blizzaks are bomb. but they're pricey. I had WS60's on my Celica and it felt like it was awd. I could barely even get them to spin. | |

| IF price was no option I would consider these: Goodyear Eagle Ultragrip GW3. I had a set on the T-bird years ago, they kicked some serious ass. If I remember correctly, I had them on the year we had our record setting snowfall..... did not get stuck ONCE. I also drove through every single one of the nasty ass storms that year. | |

| I was rocking Dunlop Winter Sport 3D's on my Mustang last year. they were crazy expensive but they worked incredibly while they lasted. I was out fucking around in every big storm with 100% confidence... while they lasted... I got about 2500 miles out of them. | |

| ^^^ Hell yes, I loved my Winter-sport 3D's, excellent on snow and ice, but just like any other tire in the dry, no snow tire weeblin and wobblin | |

| Firestone Winterforce's. They're cheap and they dig thru the snow like a nympho's fingernails in your back. |

| I'll second the winterforces, I managed Tires Plus on the west side for 5 years, and we sold the SHIT out of some winterforces, everybody in the shop had em on their cars...... |

| FS Winterforce's are available in both sizes, but being in the tire business I will tell you finding snow tires this time of year can be a bitch. This year, Canada made it law every vehicle on the road must have snow tires, so a majority of snowy's went North of the border. The other factor is that most people got there snow tires before the shit hit I seem to be the only person working today, but if you like I can check availibility when I return to work on Tuesday. |

| I have winterforces on the mazda. Best tire you can get for snow, but also terrifying on ice, so take your chances. | |

I was talking to a guy at firestone the other day he said that the blizzak tire is good for 2-4in and is better on ice then a firestone and then he went on to say that with the firestone tire it will get you through deeper snow then the blizzak due to cleaning speed, the lower the cleaning speed the more traction when it comes to snow (same concept as mud), i think that they are both equally a good tire and i would chose a blizzak over a firestone anyday i personally think they grip alot better and are just a nicer tire. |

| We got blizzaks on the 04 Mustang. I've been running around with them for a month or so now, and love them.
