the front one has to reach over a lot of shit like the intake plenum. rear is just... fat. idk and the only hard things are going to be the rear motor mount and turbo, the rest is easy ya pansies.

| Summary: -Worked on it for oh... a good 22 hours.
-Got the precat gutted, (only the rear precat was still in so one turbo had a cat the other didn't)
-steering rack in, it wasn't built properly so promptly filled both boots with PS fluid then exploded. (My car currently has manual steering)
-Still have a ghetto downpipe, however the catback fit fantastically.
-Can't get the rear motor mount to line up so its currently just sitting on 3 poly mounts (still doesn't move much).
-on the way home it pulled pretty damn good until it blew an intercooler pipe and I had to fix it on the side of the freeway... (lol)
Other than all of that shit, we found quite a few things that were totally fucked up like my wast-gates were just unplugged so it was probably running waste-gate pressure forever. some other things too but I don't remember off the top of my head.
Anyway's it will not be out much for a while...

| Did you gut the cat or cut it out? If you gutted it did you install a pipe inside? The problem with just gutting it is the air coming in to the big open area gets all ducked up and doesn't flow out well. Just gutting it can cause loss of power from worse flow. | |

took the pipe out and drilled the cat out, bolted the pipe back up because it actually fit compared to the shit precat eliminators I got. These are just pre cats the main cat was already cut off from the previous owner.

| Either way cat precatdoesn't matter..... Any timer the pipe goes from say 2 inches to 5 inches really fast then back down there is tons of turbulence and poor flow....... | |
