How many of you consider a nice audio system a "must have" for your car?

Yes, and adding subs to an otherwise awful sounding system isn't an improvement IMO.

i agree to a point. i dont need a banging system but a nice clear system is needed. many modern factory systems are good enough for me. my mustang for example, has the shaker 1000 audio system with 2 10" subs. I'm glad i have it but i dont thnk its something i would spend the money on to have if it didnt come with it.

I'm happy with factory. I don't listen to my music crazy loud and I prefer the clean look of the factory setup in my cars as well as having free cargo space instead of sacrificing practicality to make my cars rattling audible from a mile away.

.........yes. It's been a "must have" for the last, er, um, too long.

Quite a few nice options for OE integration and there are TONS of options for tiny install equipment.... though you have to pay to play. No reason to loose a trunk nowadays.

Not me. I enjoy the crackling of a one-speaker 2 watt AM radio of a B-body Mopar.... Or the sharp, clear sound of a Delco 2000 AM/FM/Cassette Player.

My truck has Bose, which I really like. My IROC came with a pair of 12's... Sold to some dudes on Craigslist for there Caprice.

As Cory stated, my listening pleasure comes from the tailpipes.

When I was 16.

I had a full system in my MDX with my custom PWK box and 2 12" l5's and a kicker zx1000.1 Also some RE components and alpine 9887? headunit?

But now my factory system is fine and I do not want to waste cash on that stuff.
