My 18 yr old nephew is looking at buying one. Is there any known issues with/about them?
Thanks. |

| Thanks guys!!
If he decides to buy it, it will be the nicest car he has owned to date. I hope the car is what the seller is making it out to be. |

| I have a 2006 V6 5 speed and love it. It's a sedan that packs a serious punch. I haven't had any issues with about 50k on the clock. |

| Little update... he got the car. Pretty damn nice, but had a few issues (minor). His dad & him got it straightened out. Seller included summer & winter tire/rim combos.
I hope it stays together for him.

Any questions feel free to shoot me a PM. Also a great resource is 6Crew.com and Mazdas247.com. Have him check out the WI section on each site for meets and what not as well. |

Heard stories about you blowing that speed3 up on THE WAY HOME from buying it after cranking up the boost, how come you don't post on M247 anymore, they give you too much shit? You bought your car built and destroyed it, that's not my problem, grow up. |

| zoomzoom06 no actually i am not on M247.com because there is no good info or tech shit on that site... i am on mazdaspeedforums.org
and no my car didn't blow up on the way home...i had it for 2 months and then it decided to go out of boost... and the car wasn't "BUILT" the car had bolt ons...
so now i am able to to MAKE IT BUILT
I got my CP Pistons and Pauter Rods already got a new motor...just need to pick up all supporting mods to run a 35R...
and yes i have raced a bunch of 6's and MSP's...there are plenty down here....ne ways i am just saying that the mazda6 V6 doesn't pack a punch the Mazdaspeed Protege is faster...and that car is slow i should know i used to own one... i am not downing your car at all ... all that i am saying is it's slow...it doesn't pack a punch...drive a turbo car sometime that makes some decent power and you will see that it does pack a punch
might i add that i was never able to max out my boost since i was running on the stock boost control selinoid...all the mods that were on the car made my boost 17-19 psi on that reworked K04...i had no way of turning the boost up...let alone the car had no tune at the time it blew...shit happens and you are right it's my problem...
and now i am fixing it to be built |
