| my car finally made it to the car wash last night for the first time ever with 3,659 miles and it's like 6 weeks old now. it's still pretty grimy but it's as clean as it will probably get for the next 2 months or so, so I decided to snap a couple pictures for the hell of it. even though it's a gay little economy car, I actually like it a lot. lots of cool features to play with, really tight handling and super cheap to own, especially compared to some of my past vehicles. only things I've done so far are pull the DRL fuse, jumper the clutch so that I can start it without the pedal, and remove the rear CIVIC badge and the big i-VTEC DOHC decals on the back doors. Vibrant StreetPower catback is on the way, perhaps a few others goodies soon did I mention it weighs under 2,900 lbs? never got around to cleaning the engine bay, obviously... oh and I felt like I should share this because I still talk about this car all the time, but most of you have never seen it. I miss this car, 2004 Sonic Blue GT, fully loaded. Mustang haters, enjoy! | |

3.73's, full-bolt-ons, heavy foot. it briefly had a turbo on it as well at which point I got like 6-7 mpg because it was full boost everywhere lol. - brngrhd wrote:

other then that nice car do they make it "for men" too LOL j/k just because that way I can just lean in and start it when I have to brush/scrape off my windows and stuff like that. my back still isn't the best and my knee isn't all that great either so it's a pain in the ass to get in, start it, then get up again. so basically because I'm lazy and it was easy to do/easily reversible. I did it with a paper clip and like 4" of electrical tape. and no I don't think so that's why it needs window tint!

I do. although I have no idea why. I've had the car just over 6 weeks and it's getting close to 3800 miles now I think. costs $35 to fill it up with 93 though. - LLcoolJames wrote:

yessir. can't explain why, but I do love blue. - 38394Z28 wrote:

maybe. it's iffy because out of the two cars I've had with tinted tails, I've gotten pulled over for both of them and the ones on the Mustang weren't that dark. plus every 8th gen Civic I've seen with sprayed tails just looked plain trashy. they make an overlay in orange or red that goes over the clear blinker but not the reverse light, and I may just do that. and of course, 90's GM interior is the definition of style. I can't top that.

| haha you have to remember who is driving it. I break everything. but these cars are known for like 1 out of every 3 or 4 or something having problems staying in 3rd gear which is really my only concern. Honda is stingy about this and seems to like finding ways out of replacing it under warranty so I want to wait it out and see if that's going to be an issue before I do anything that may void it. | |
