Did they ever get the transmission failures figured out on the GTR? I don't recall hearing if they did or not.

Yea, they fixed the launch control and made it more usable/tranny friendly. Technically I don't think they can take your car away for going over 120, they can void the shit out of your warranty though

i thought they took away the launch control for 2012? and the car is supposed to know its on a track via gps and then your supposed to be ok...but thats all still extremely gay. i think its a very impressive car though, especially for what it weighs...and you should see the import fanboys vs the hardcore domestic guys on ls1tech.com about this lol.

nope they still have launch control but the only difference is that it is warrantied but that has been established in the thread already

I dont like anything a bout the GTR other than 11s out of the box.
Too much technology.
Little room for improvement.
Not worth the money.

90K is a bargain for the numbers that thing puts up and it rapes the Z and it still seats 4

I know that the Japanese version has a speed limiter and is taken off at approved tracks.

The biggest issue with this car is not them taking it away. That would be plain ridiculous.

Its that if you refuse to let them look at your ecu or blackbox then they void warranty. If they see that you've been driving with the VDC off they void warranty.

A ZR1 would knock the dick hair off that magic cock pony.
