| customer came in with one of those bad ass turbo xs manifols fallin apart. so i was slicin up some schedule 10 stainless today did the downpipe @ a year ago... more to come... | |

| TurboXS...... yeah. Even their 2.3T manifolds crack like hell.
Most people add extra bracing right out of the box..... and even then LOL. | |

| dont know yet, the 2 bar map that was supposed to be installed by another shop is completely f'd so we just switched back to the stock one, will be limited to 10 or so psi. hoping to have some #'s before the end of the day...
update, customers previous mechanic had also made a wastegate actuator extension which was not holding the wastegate closed=no boost. was pretty hard to diagnose too since his boost gauge was 3psi off on the posative side and the map wasnt reading accurately all day. more/better updates tomorrow. | |
