| Thanks to the guys at middleton ford who mounted the tires! Next on the hitlist is suspension work (shocks are shot and 1.25" drop), blacked out chrome around the windows and 35% tint. The car is still technically for sale, but after I buy suspension parts I am keeping it else I will really end up losing my ass. Never got past tire kickers with it on CL. | |

| Thanks dude. Here is what it looks like with the stockers on it. Pardon the overexposed shot, the flash was washing the car out bad. | |

| I still have not 100% decided on suspension. I have a few options, budget is a big concern too.
My ideal would be koni yellows with voigtland drop springs. Not sure I can bring myself to buy the konis though. They were on sale last month for 20% off and I still couldn't pull the trigger. Shocks/springs for this setup is about 1k.

| Yeah, the price of parts is commensurate with the original cost of the car (50kish).
Normal parts aren't all that expensive though.

| It looks good but I'm confused because I thought you were starting to hate that car. Are you sure putting more money into is the best idea? Because then, like you said, you'll really be stuck with it. It does look nice though. | |

| Yeah, I was. I had a bunch of shit fail on it within a short period of ownership due to the previous owner likely knowing that it was going to need more work really soon. When I really look at "whats left" for the weak points there isn't much. I took my lumps initially, and it has been fine since. I tend to be really love/hate on cars. I also usually let the hate get the best of me and I unload it right after I get everything fixed and sorted out... my WRX with a fresh built hybrid motor is a good example. I made a few bucks on that car though.
Don't worry, it won't turn into blackouts fail thread of the week car either!

| SOLD!
I actually followed through with what I said I would.. which was leave it up f/s until I could get the suspension sorted. It was tough to see it leave, but he paid my asking price (which I made clear was non-negotiable) and went on his merry way. Overblown was right though, I have a mixed feeling of sadness and relief to see it leave.
Ill be driving the 240 for a little while as a daily I suspect, until I find a replacement for it.
