Thanks for the runs last night. It was fun while it lasted.

This morning on the interstate I did a 3rd gear pull and I'm guessing when I hit full boost it blew off a line going to the ebcs. The boost must have spiked really high and the engine sure didn't like it. I'm not sure how long my car will be down for but hopefully it will be back out this summer.

Wow, sorry to hear that. You don't seem to have good luck with that car. Do you have to go thru the whole engine again?

I'm going to buy a set of cp pistons and headgaskets and go from there. The way its smokin out of the oil filler tube tells me that most likely the piston ringlands are fucked. So I'm crossin my fingers.

Definitely stop driving it. It wouldn't surprise me if the detonation scuffed the bearings up too.

Sorry dude.

Get the block properly honed and when you put it back together make sure to double zip tie or clamp all your boost/vacuum connections.

Anyways... I'm sorry to hear about the car, man. I'd definitely check and double check everything, just in case. I really hate to hear that someone blew an engine up.... I feel for ya. Good luck on the rebuild!
