PC issues.... another rant

I hate computers. I'm SO happy I dropped that career.

HD on my desktop PC took a shit. I have EVERYTHING on there and no backups, yeah, dumb. It was locking up this past week and I though my wife dl'd something that was screwing with it. Nope. Locking up this morning, then it would go past POST and start loading windows, then it would just restart. I grab a PC from from my mom and just try to read off of it as a slave. That had errors up the wazu. I finally coaxed it back to where I can read off of it and I'm just trying to back it all up..... old slow shit = time to kill. I have a new HD all ready to go.... so much fun today.

This and my mid day Woodmans shopping trip, I feel like.....


Damn good flick, gonna have to add that to my netflix now that I think about it.

I go to Woodmans at like 4 in the morning to avoid the insanity.


sucks about the HDD though, if mine went I'd just be out a bunch of porn lol.

Just realized my stuff is older than dirt. Got the wrong HD...... I'm running oldschool UATA.... yeah bad ass I know. Just about ready to bitch slap it, reformat it, and use my laptop for the good stuff for a while.

I got chkdsk to get the HD back, so I guess I'll see what happens with a fresh install. It didn't kick back any bad sectors, so who knows.

I have no idea what just happened in this thread.

You mobo doesn't even have SATA?

What are you saying I built this thing when I worked at Wolf..... a million years ago. It was king shit back then though. I surf the web and use Office, I run minimal programs, and no BS stuff. No video or photo editing..... It works just fine for what my wife and I do.

I used to be a big PC gamer but you can't beat 56", on the couch, with some decent surround sound power. My 360 is more than enough dust magnet as it is. If anything I wanna get this adapter I found so you can use a keyboard and mouse with no lag for the 360.....
