Trans Go Ka Bang.

I'm well aware of the 3 gear issue and I finally got around to contacting the shop that supposedly installed a LSD in my car. Come to find out the diff. Was installed into a 6 speed O2M trans but the shop used my vin to show record. Therefore Steve you were correct I did have an open diff.
That being said I tore into the trans today and found that the key that secures the pin in the did had sheared. The e
ntire trans is garbage due to the chunks of case that fell in.
But all is well the donor trans is working fine for now and I hope to have an LSD purchased along with a complete rebuild kit come spring.
