Thought you'd spray more at it! Should still be pretty stout. Is the cam grind for E-85? | |

| What year is the block? is it a factory block or an aftermarket? | |

| It is factory. I understand the limits of the block completely. I honestly wouldnt be suprised if I were to crack it farther down the road. 175 will really be pushing it hard.
If I went the route of a dart block, I would have ended up throwing a giganto turbo on her.

| Wow! That is some serious lift on that cam. Those victor Jr's should flow really nice. What kind of rpm's will you turn with it?

| I would like to think high 6000s.. Its hard to say right now. Factory block and series 9000 crank are holding me back for that part |

| So you know if it is a roller block or is older? I spin my 408 to 7000 all the time! | |

| It is not a roller block, I will be throwing some comp retrofit lifters in it. The heads with pushrod guideplates as well so there wont be any issues |

| What have you done to work the suspension on it? I'm sure the 9 inch will manage, but what about body flex, converter, and front end tweaks?

| I will be running an 8.8 for the rear. With the 31 spline diff and axles I should be fine and be able to save a few pounds.
Suspension why I have adjustable shocks. Once I build the 8.8 I will be throwing adj control arms, torque boxes and subframes on. Possibly a bag for the rear passenger side. I will further go into suspension after that.
The front end has a tubular k member for the windsor swap. No coilovers currently but that will be an easy swap.
Just dont have a billion dollars to spend currently |

| Also I made a minor mistake, motor is closer to 12:1 than 11:1. shouldn't be an issue Also they sent 1.72 rockers not 1.7. Also not a biggie. Just a little more lift and duration |

| I know its not much but be wary about the increased lift. I'm sure you have measured depth and all so no worry of pistons slapping, but still slight changes in geometry do increase issues with wear, especially when dealing with the lift you are playing with at this time.
Mike
PS kudos for stepping up retainers, those comp ones are a nice peace of mind item!

| I wouldn't think keepers would go for 24 bucks! lol They are the 10 degree keeper and retainers.
We will check for ptv clearance for sure. lift is .688 instead of .680 |
