| Had a question for the honda guys or anyone else who might know. Im trying to help a friend who has a 99 accord f23 with a blown trans which is auto. 98 to 01 trans are spendy and i was wondering if an f22 trans would bolt up properly. It seems its been the case that most honda motors in the same series can swap parts easily. Im hoping this would work to save alot of money. If it does work would i need anything else to bolt it up. Any help would be appreciated, need it out of garage | |

| Thanks for the help guys, this car ended up being a dead end. The motor that was in it was fried from nitrous so we got a new motor from a salvage yard. Well getting ready to do a headgasket on the new motor be noticed 2 sloppy pistons. Took oil pan off to check rod bearing and found aluminum coffeti covering everything. also found the suspension to need extensive repair and the wiring cobble fucked together. She decided to part the car out and get a new one. Looking for a honda or acura for under 2k if anyone has one | |
