I live in Beloit and am often in Edgerton. I drive a 2000 Mustang that I am currently in the middle of a 393w swap in. Motor has a little work into it.

Looking forward to seeing how it runs with the little bottle in the trunk Laughing

Mine as it sits.. Keep in mind I am not using that hood and I have a black top to put on,

Welcome to the site. This sounds Like a really cool build. 393 sounds really unique. I've have never heard of this as a stroked package. I'm very interested in hearing more about the build.

Sounds, like a cool car.

Thanks,

It is pretty popular amongst the Mustang world. It utilizes a 3.85 inch stroke, 351w rods and 302 pistons. I went this route since I already had forged 351w rods from the 351w swap I was origionally going to go with.

My girlfriend also has a 2001 GT unmolested with 27k miles. Seen rain twice I believe. After mine is done we have been talking about doing stuff to that one. Super clean.

I haven't ordered the carb yet. I either am buying a "non e85" carb and converting it(Pro Systems) or buying a Quick Fuel 850 or 950. Have been debating those choices lately.

Horsepower innovations the guy does custom build with new parts and the carb will be prostate exam on. Mine runs great right out of the box. The owner is eric and he will help you any day any time with tuning. my hp950 was $650 and like I said it is a brand new carb. He also does nitrous tune-up's if you want to send him your stuff he flows it and gives you tunes for whatever hp levels you want.
