New vehicle is a 1996 Explorer XLT, 2wd 5.0. Low milage, new transmission last year (i have the paperwork) origonally from California, no not a prostate exam of rust.

Wasnt the 4x4 that broke on the last one.......

But being that its a 2wd..... and a different trans altogether, its not likely. Ill put some pics up later.

What I meant was, 90's explorers are not generally very reliable, and that since it doesnt have 4x4 you can count on that not breaking.

Seriously tho, why would you buy a 2wd explorer in wisconsin? The 4x4 in the winter is on the short list of possible reasons to drive an exploder in my opinion.

LOL

We all know 5.0s dont make power....what would i need the turbo for? Smile

LL, Not many options honestly. I traded the T-Bird straight up for it, so no money other than registering it came out of my pocket. I really didnt use the 4x4 much in the 92 anyways. If you have a decent set of tires and drive responsibly.....its too easy not to get stuck. Imho, its more about ground clearance anyways. Its a nice little street truck, and its honestly the newest vehicle Ive owned. LOL
