father daughter project

Well some of you know me some don't. Recently i built a car with my 17 year old daughter ,which is her car. The rule to buliding this car was she helps build it from start to finish. Keeps her grades up,and plain and simply be responsible. I will post pics from it start to finish. It is a 69 chevell which was purchased from here uncle. Purchase price of $1500 which was bought out of her own money.And turned into frame off and 8months of time. She did alot of her own parts finding,so ebay and crigslist became big hits...total cost to build was $9970.00 with purchase.

first wash since 97 3 hours of power washing crud off etc.

ball joints removed along with controle arm bushings that were destroyed from years of drag racing.then fitted  new springs before body was lifted and frame painted and cleaned








so here is start of tear down

lil clean up and some por 15 to a few parts then reinstalled to frame.Energy suspension bushings,new balljoints .Daughter found a deal and rotors bearing in a kit for $100 off ebay. Also got a set of new in box 1.5 lowereing springs from eibach off craigslist for $125.
