One way to avoid a brake job Empty
PostSubject: One way to avoid a brake job   One way to avoid a brake job Icon_minitimeMon Mar 19, 2012 10:09 am

Last wednesday after work my girlfriend came to pick me up since i usually walk there. We were planing on going to Untied to pick up her new pads and rotors. I guess we dont need the anymore thanks to a 50 year old ER nurse who was texting on her cell phone during rush hour. Long story short she ran a red light and plowed into my gfs car at 45 mph. Car now looks like this:

One way to avoid a brake job IMAG0248
One way to avoid a brake job IMAG0249
One way to avoid a brake job IMAG0250
One way to avoid a brake job IMAG0253
One way to avoid a brake job IMAG0251

To no surprise her insurance company wont give us shit for the car, so now we get the gf's parents minivan until we find her a replacement car.

speaking of texting and driving, this silverado was stopped JUST YESTERDAY to help a car that had stalled in front of our dealership, and a girl driving a blazer decided she wanted to text instead of watch the road... ahh the fun aftermath in a 35mph zone, and incase anyone is checking, yea there are no black marks from the brakes. cheers
