All it really is is a sprayable liquified synthetic rubber sealant. The MSDS is on their web site if you really want to get technical.

Do people outside of the military use the MSDS at all, I haven't heard that term in forever.

Steve dropped a piece off at my house and it is pretty cool shit.

I am supposed to have an MSDS on file for every chemical product that I have in my office here. Supposed to and do are two totally different things though!

Piece of what?

Their website explains a lot.

I was also thinking about getting some clear for a clear bra or use it for rocker panel protection.

Would also work for wheel protection in the winter.

I feel like some wind is going to get under it and it's all going to come off in one big fucking rubber sheet.

That is what I did to to my wheels, and I like the look a lot and its held up really well. Also, I didn't to as many coats as I should have, and it was cold when I did it so it didn't bond as well as it could have.

I am going to put like 2 more coats on when its warmer and it should be good until next year. All in all, I invested 60 bucks and 2 hours and got black wheels out of the deal...

My front right tire did the day I did it. But, there are three things that caused it though...1) Not enough coats 2) It was to cold 3) the tire that I have on the front is wider than the wheel so it hangs over just a touch, so when I turned the tire must have rubbed on the wheel just enough to remove a piece.

None of it peeled, it just took off like a 1/8 inch by 1 inch section. I knew exactly what I did, so I just resprayed it quick and parked it in the 60 degree garage to dry and you cant tell it ever happened and it hasn't happened since (its been about 6 weeks)

All in all, if you have a show car...its not the correct route. If you just want black wheels quick...go for it. There's no downfall to doing it...if you don't like it, you can just peel it off. I was really skeptical at first, but I like the flat black look to match the break vents, so I will keep it...and Ill let you guys know if something goes south.

I did my wheels in black a few months ago and haven't had a single problem with it. Probably could have put another coat on at the time just to make it easier when I peel them off and do them again in a different color.

Their blaze blue is pretty awesome IMO.
