| Um I'm pretty sure that part you took out is a structural piece...... On most uni-bodies that is the area where the front portion of the "frame" ends and they put that there to tie it together with the other side...... | |

| I will replace it, but with a shorter piece. I am going to mirror the drivers side essentially. I cut the brace out with a spotweld cutter, its on the shelf right now.
Thanks for the warning though Steve.

| There is quite a bit more room in the non-sunroof cars. Most of the SE's (5 lug etc.) have sunroofs. If I ever repaint this car again I will definitely reskin it with a non-sunroof top. In the meanwhile this is about my only option. It should make it a lot more comfortable, which I am pretty excited about. | |

| Nice work homie, it looks just like you described. Now, on to seat brackets. | |

| Looks nice, I always hated how little head room there was in the T-bird, but I never really did anything about it. | |

Couple one inch muffler clamps and a lawn chair. Maybe Adirondack if I can fit it into the budget. | |

| I guess I never updated this. This project is long finished and my seat is so low that it feels a bit retarded. I am still adjusting to it but really like not bashing my head on the ceiling over bumps. I picked up almost 3" of headroom which should let me at least sit upright with a helmet on. | |
