| picked up a 19' sea ray sxr last night w a popped merc small block, its on an ez loader 6.0 double axle, lotsa options, ski deck, bimini top, alpha bravo ps drive, etc. so the plan is swap in one of the 5.3/6.0's i have layin around an see what boatin in the 700+hp area is like. will post pics asap... | |

| Which outdrive? Alpha or bravo? I am assuming alpha if it had a smallblock in it. Alpha drives can only handle about 400 hp before the upper gears break. | |

| dont know exactly what the drive is yet, had a 350 so hopefully it can handle 5.7 liters of raw ls1 horsepower i dont think ill go much more than 12psi with the 50 trim kit from the supra so idk what that will make for crank hp. prob somewhere between 5-600 im guessin. which im guessin isnt gonna be too good on this drive. we'll see fastest i have ever been on monona is 85 in a 19' checkmate w/merc 454,, im hopin this boat will do that but the hull design & weight might hold it back. | |
