| with my truck (2010 F150) the traction control is never truly disabled even when you do the foot on the brake, hold the button for ten seconds shit. the only way you can really kill it all is with an aftermarket tuner. | |

Well my white one ran 11.4-11.6 @120-121 on the factory wheels with drag radials but was running 97-98 in the 1/8 mile and this one is going 92-93 1/8 so its making 28-29 mph on the big end were the old one was only gaining 22-24 mph, so the 2.66 1st gear with 3.31 rear gears and 28" tall tires is a little more of a challange to figure out how to get to leave with out sliding the clutch too much and engaging the clutch protection. The times I have seen on these cars in the real world have trap speed of 116-123 a few have run 125-126 and guys with a few bolt ons seem to be in the 11.0-11.2 @128-130. The nice thing about the tall gears is not have to shift to 4 gear as the car will go 135 in 3rd gear.

A tuner gets rid of all the nannies and gives the car 100% throttle opening as the factory tune never lets the car see more then 85-86% from what I have read and is the reason why just a tune can give you almost 40rwhp with no other mods

Well in the end it still comes down to the driver being able to get the car down the track so I have some work to do.

| was my first time at the track. I ran only a 12.7@112 with a 1.9 I was awesome and forgot pants so I had to wait 2 runs for my friend to come back and let me borrow his 2nd pair of pants. I was surprised how well I was hooking on street tires, and it made me a little scared to launch my shit harder. but with some earlier shifting and more seat time I think I could hit lower 12's at least. I would have ran more but I had some other plans that day and waiting in line for over and hour was getting to me lol | |

| Thanks Riggle,
It was really fun to see the 240 in person. I know you said it was out of its element, but respectable run! Plus I will say that is one of the cleanest, nicest cars I've ever seen. I can see why people are big fans of them
Well as some know my best run was 12.71 at 109 mph. That was first run off the trailer. And... Then apparently I got to smart for myself and couldn't figure out traction to save my life and break back into the 12's. I always have a blast there

Dammit, I would have loved to give them a try for the whole 4-5 passes I made. I also don't make enough power to do burn out box action, so it would have been minimal wear. I would have thrown you some cash to help the cause/your inconvenience. I just checked a 1320 calculator, and I should have been running a 13.1! Car makes 235 whp/255 wtq, weighs 2700 lbs on the button (corner weight my car religiously). Can't believe my dumb ass left 7 tenths out there. Yeesh.

| Man your car is light! Let me know next time and you can borrow them. You won't put as much wear as I do on them when I run them on the street. On another positive note, I get to drive home on them from work tonight. Yeah. | |

| Oops, car weighs 2860 with me in it, directions for calculator had that little tidbit in tiny ass font.
Revised calculator values say I should have ran a 13.4.
I feel slightly more competent.

No doubt, but it's a decent estimator of pure potential IMO. What's a tenth in a 60 ft worth in the top end? Imagine if I got my crappy 2.1 down to a 1.6-1.7 like my DSM?! Lol, in my dreams. What 60 do you manage 383? My 2 step on my DSM made it unfairly consistent. I'll be eying one up for the s13 since I launch my car so often at events. Worth the scrilla.

I use the Moroso slide rule. It is dead on. But your chassis has to be dead on and in ideal conditions.
