This was the Bee as it sat July 2012. it went 12.93 in 1/4 mile at 107.99 MPH. It went only .06 slower then the old 70. Considering that it only has a quarter of the suspension mods the blue one had, I was very happy and impressed, basically a bolt on and go car. Oh did I mention I chipped a rocker on that pass too.

I am not one to hide stuff so here goes.

Basic 440 bored 30 over with keith black pistons, stock Ly rods
custom cam from comp 232/237 @50 483 lift
1.5 Indy rockers
Edlebrock RPM intake dual plane440 source OOTB aluminum heads
Summit headers 1 7/8" in 3 inch collector 2.5 inch exhaust with cutouts
727 with Transgo shit kit and PTC 10" converter 3000 stall, and 3.91 gears
and let us not forget the 295/65/15 M/T (mikeyT signature) tires

The plan to safelty put the Bee into the 11's.

This will be done in a three phase attack. First and formost improve the safety of the car. Over the next winter months the bee will have work done to improve handling, by rebuilding the front suspension,and a conversion to disc brakes. This should eliminate nasty brake fade and floating sensation that currently gets me at high rates of speed.


Second phase will be to upgrade the fuel system: Since I am not interested in china syndroming the block I am looking the whole system over. This means increasing fuel lines from3/8 to 1/2", bigger sending unit and bigger fuel pump. I have not decided if I will finally bite the bullet and do a an electrical fuel pump or just go biggest mechanical one I can find, and be done with it. My gut says it will be electric.

Finally, last and not least. I am going to NOS the car. The plan is to keep it simple and do a conservative 125 HP shot. This is to eliminate a lot of issues with building the car to run only on spray.

Well that is it. Hopefully by spring or early summer next year it will be fruition.

Thanks Jeff, I actually have looked at that one. A lot of the mopar big block guys use that one and can vouche for it. I agree simple is better.

This is going to be a lot fun. I figure big thing is order up parts and we could probably do this over a weekend at the command center (<---inserted power rangers reference). It isn't too complicated, but still need a few hands to turn some wrenches and drink some beer.

The explorer lost a trans. Common issue. The T bird still runs great with its new owner. The camaro was put together by a fucking retard in NY that didn't know how to build a motor. The SHO was a bad idea to begin with.I never turned a wrench on it.
