With those mods and the spray you should have a 10 second ride with traction.

It is pretty sad to know that bolt-ons plus a small shot will do that.

seen a couple with stock trans/converter do it with those mods but I doubt i'll be one of those people. the hard part is finding a tire set up that doesnt cost more than the rest put together. these 235s are pathetic. lol
anybody know the largest tire without looking ridiculous/not being safe on an 8 inch rim?

245x45 would probably fit, will give you some meat on the sides too. I have 245x40 on a 8.5 rim and they are slightly stretched.

I believe the cheeseburger had 275/40 on 17x8's. on my ST a few guys have fit a 265/35 on the stock 18x8 as well.
the good news about mustangs is aftermarket wheels cost about $12 each and I'd imagine you could probably fit a 305 or 315 on an x9.5 or x10 wheel without any modification

Because it would destroy a good share of the cars on this board.

Helped out a local LSx Shop with their dyno day this past Saturday. strapped the mustang down and made 384 whp 372 tq through an auto with tune, catless x, and intake. Had about 30 cars come through. highest hp went to an 89 twin turbo fox body putting down 905. once the video guy gets done editing I'll put up the link
