Met a few LS guys down here in Ga, one who use to work for Vengeance Racing who has now opened his own shop. Talked me into doing a little work to the car. They started the install this morning and were done by 3pm. parts added include:
intake duration is a little shorter but exhaust is a little longer. believe their intake/exhaust duration are both in the low/mid 330s. I was leaning towards going their way but i got a good deal on this cam and springs and should still do pretty well. the split is kind of big and more common with LS3s. we will have to see how well it works with the 243 heads but I'll let you know what it puts down hopefully tomorrow night
yeah its pretty much a brand new cts v that runs like shit and they took off the stock blower and put a maggie on it for some reason. whoever tuned it did a shit job so the owner dropped it off there to see what they can do. Ive seen some pretty sweet cars go through there though over the last few weeks. a bunch of heads cam c6 Zs, a couple TT c5s, a bunch of heads cam 5.3 trucks, and two 5th gens with heads cam d1 setups. they are on facebook as lsxperts
guy just got done tuning it and it dynoed 405 whp 389 ft lbs still leaving a little on the table. havent seen the graph or anything yet but the guy literally just called me to let me know. just some minor last minute adjustments and she will be ready to go.
