Title says it all. IF you don't want the car scene to die, do something about it. Whats everyone up to?

Awesome! I just wish it was more like it was a few years back, with activity on here and some actual racing.

Went to Byron a couple weeks a go. Got a nice new Tye tune afterwards, good riddance DiabloSport mail order tunes! Then my water pump gave up the ghost. Glad it happened here and not at the drags. It's all fixed and raring to go. It gets driven about once a week now I have my daily. Good and bad I guess.

You just have to buy a Subaru or Vw and stance it. Plenty of meets to go to then. Nobody wants to go fast anymore. It takes to much thinking and money. Rims, coilovers and engine dress do not require mechanical knowledge of a car. Learning how to get air through an engine efficiently requires reading, research, and learning. That's too much work for the younger generation. It's just bright colors and shiny stuff. It goes along with Facebook, Instagram, twitter, ect. It's all just pictures and small sentences with poor spelling and grammar. That wcec Facebook group is the perfect example. About 10% of the people in that group actually are into power and speed and know somewhat how to accomplish it. The rest is, "what should I do to my 3rd gen eclipse to make it cool?". You give them the only correct answer of, "sell it and buy something with some potential", you get scolded and told you should appreciate all car enthusiast's. Look at automotion this year. It completely hit rock bottom this year. I doubt I'll even go next year. It just part of the dumbing down of the rest of society.

Not to take away from Subaru's and Vw. I like Subaru's when done correctly, such as logans car. And my driver is a golf diesel.

I'm not attending Automotion next year. Not worth it.

That being said, I'm willing to go slow and still meet up with faster people Smile

Automotion was dead to the world Saturday. I likely won't go next year either.

Why be cool with people in person by being fast, when you can be cool on the internet with stance....

100% true, and this is the way the car world will end. Until some other thing comes along that interests people in a mass appeal sort of way.

All that matters is how your car appears to people on FB.
