the few fittings i didnt have will be here on the fed ex truck tomorrow. also i have another appointment at the sheetmetal shop tomorrow night/wed. i stopped in there monday and had them get a 5x10' sheet to do the dash & firewall. they called today saying that it showed up and wanted to confirm. so look for updates thurs/friday.

i plan on spending the weekend modifying my engine harness & installing the painless race harness & switch panel...

I love the painless wiring systems. Its the one I have in the Coronet, nice set up! Man, Nate you are cleaning house on this build. Again, very impressive work!

screwed up a couple fittings so another order will be placed to finish up the fuel system.

back to the sheetmetal shop tomorrow night for the firewall, tunnel & floor. might do the dash while im there so i have more to keep me busy at my place installing the gauges.

floor tin & driveshaft tunnel done last night, also cut/trimmed the firewall. i need to pull the motor & trans to install that prob tonight. motor needed to come out to put a working transmission in anyway & the flexplate. didnt take many pics last night so this early in the eve camera phone pic is all ya get.

firewall installed yesterday & looks pretty damn good/didnt do any wiring unfortunately but its pretty straightforward with a painless 12 circuit race system. hopefully lay that in before i go to joes this week for the transmission tunnel cover, dash & detail work on the interior.

holiday b.s. delayed dash & trans tunnel progess so doin that tonight!

scuffed & shot the jambs & installed some interior trim pieces in the mean time. also put the tail lights & trim back on the back end this mornin.

dash & trans cover are done!!! big deal to me since this was the second try on the transmission cover. the jegster kit comes with a two piece tranny cover that was way too small to do what i needed done so.... ordered another 4X10' sheet of.064 aluminum & got it done. guages & wiring over the next week. we'll see how it goes.

late march shouldnt be a problem...

engine harness started last night, id say over halfway done with it.

clips, zip ties, loom & tape off, everything not needed is out of the engine harness. now gotta mount the computer where i want it, pull the wires to where they go & tape/loom it back up.

even tho i dont like you, and you dont like me im glad to see this thing come together. i hope this would run any honda into the dirt or you did something wrong. cant wait to see it out next year. your building something to beat us, im glad, then we have to build something to beat you. thats how shop vs shop should be.

havent posted any pics in awhile but the transmission cover & shifter are mounted/hooked up, dash is nearing completion (boost gauge is tracked for tomorrow) then that can go in...

i changed the steering column mount last night/wasnt comfortable with how low i had it. now the tilt & tele functions work with the dash in the car.

these two pics are of the dash upside down/im epoxying the braces in tonight

boost gauge goes in the hole inside the top steering wheel opening, small speedo to the left & shift light in the middle with pen size light for oil pess warning

approxamately what i'll be looking at
