My dad drives a 99 lexus gs300 with a 2jzge motor (the none turbo one), he was thinking of either throwing a turbo on it or buying something else like a z06 or something. He was quite surprized at the price of turbo kits hahah, so was mom. But after he did some reading he said it sounded easier to do a engine swap with the gte motor. What do you guys think?

I'd take option Bbuying a ZO6 or something..... to me doing a swap on a GS300 is a bit odd..... do people do that? what i'm saying is, is that a comon swap? if it is then cool if not your in for a lot of troubles and problems.

Immediately cease and desist all thoughts of turboing that motor. NOT worth it. If you're going to do it then do an actual swap. I think it would be VERY cool and there is a 400 running around the STL with a 2J making 800whp. It's pretty fucking sick. DO IT!
