| Ive been toying with the idea of converting to run on E85. From a bit of research it looks like the general recommendation is to increase the injector size, and possibly the fuel pump. My current injectors are 630cc and seem that they would be capable of handling the increased flow rate.
The fuel pump on the other hand may need to be swapped out for a 190 or 255 lph pump. The 190 is good to 350 hp which i will probably never come close to making, yet the 255 is the same price. Any advantage of staying with the smaller fuel pump?
Is there anything else I am missing other than to have it tuned again? |

| I'm guessing you will need to change plugs to something hotter to lite the fuel.

| E85 requires an average of 30% increase of fuel delivery. I have no idea why your injectors are so massive but they will be plenty and then some. I would say go with a 255 because it won't hurt anything but too little sure will. Not sure if you would need a regulator or not. | |

| 630s are not that big especially when running e85 on turbo/supercharged cars. but like peaches said its 30% more fuel. some tune on pump and increase the tables 30% and go from there. maybe try it out but watch your IDC %. fuel pump is always a good inexpensive upgrade to have | |

| All depends on how much power you're looking to make. | |

| Im not looking to make alot of power at all. Last time it was dyno'ed it was at 200 hp at 8 psi, now its up around 11-12 psi. I wouldn't be disappointed with a gain in power, but the reason behind this was to do something different. |

| At injector max, and 15 or so psi, i wouldn't be surprised if you made ~265.. | |

| 630's should be good up to the 300whp mark on e85 so all is fine there. I'm not sure what style fuel system you have(return or pulse) or if the extra flow will cause any problems with overrun but it's really a toss up. If you don't plan on going bigger I don't see a problem with a 190 or maybe even something like a second hand evo8 fuel pump; just make sure your boost+base fuel pressure isn't going to exceed the evo8 pump's relatively low bypass pressure(~65psi). Perhaps just rewire yours? | |

My car is not stock, but all the engine internals are. Also I believe I am pushing my current stock fuel pump near its limit, so that would definitely be replaced. |

| for a turbo car its a good idea. but my main concern would be your bottom end. how much power can the stock corolla bottom end take? sounds like your injectors would be good and all you would need is the pump and a tune. turn up the boost and timing and have fun. if the bottom end can take the extra power there is no reason you shouldnt do it. | |

| Stock bottom end will hold about 250-275whp. A bigger pump is a good idea and maybe a lower temp T-stat like TRD or MWR. | |

| Biggest issue is doing something about tuning. You need to be able to adjust the cranking fueling, tip-in, and flow scaling for E85. hotter plugs are not needed. Properly tuned, a close friend runs one step colder plugs on his STI and his car cranks right up at 1F on E85 (winter blend). Also, you need to make sure your stock fuel lines can handle Ethanol. Most cars can handle lower concentrations no problem, but not all cars are the same. Newer Subarus are great to run E85 since people have been running it for close to 5 years with no deterioration or problems. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-RJVqhtXXw |
