MikeyT 1970 Dodge Coronet build

The Coronet has luckily been the Tarp family child for the past 7 years. Here is a list with a few pictures

Engine Mods:
440 Engine bored (.40 over) 448 cubic iches
Aluminum stealth 440 heads
Holley Street Avenger intake
Comp xtreme Cam 286
Shorty hedman headers:



Automatic Transmission
727 torqueflyte with reverse manual valve body with 2800 stall PTC torque converter.
Currently 3:23 gears in a built 8 3/4 rear axle Strange axles with green bearings (3:91 gears change out)

suspension
rebuilt front end PST polyeurthane front kit

Electrical:
rebuilt electrical harness with painless wiring harness and recent gauge cluster (Water temp, voltmeter and vaccum)

Body: The body is not great, but it was the first attempt at body work my buddies and I did. Here is the old coronet: Literally a few weeks after I bought it. This will show its slow change:

Mikey, I remember that car being black and cruising east wash.... 1/4's flapping in the wind and all!

Don't sell yourself short either, that coronet is a bad ass looking car. I'm just waiting for you to say, "Hey Zac, know where I can get a set of Magnum 500s? I need 10's for the rear!"

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the kind words. Zac more then once I've thought about
a nice set of 500's, but I've been stuck on cragers since I was a little car dude.

yup, the car was black, over red, over yellow over green, over peach, beige or something else back to yellow.

Nothing gets you closer to knowing how your car has weathered time then stripping it down to bear metal. The Coronet we can say was um,.... well used!
