I have some poly mudflaps but not all of the mounting hardware (some of it was still on the STi)... if you're interested

Mudflaps themselves are in good condition. You might have to work something out for mounting them unless you can find the mounting hardware somewhere online. I still have quite a bit of it and I think a lot of the important spacer pieces.

THAT looks like a fun beater. Keep it together until wintertime, and I'd bet it would become a WHOLE lot of fun then!

this cars beat.

So when I bought it had a decent hesitation. Then the hesitation went away randomly. Then It came back in force.

Even motorsport matt thinks its a mystery. Car has new plugs, wires and a different coil.

Matt thinks it feels like the hesitation is MAF related. Might be, but I already cleaned it. Also, if you drive the car in limp mode with the MAF unplugged it still runs shitty. Anyone have a subaru maf lying around I could swap on to see if anything changes?

Me and Matt (well mostly matt) also determined it does have a weak cylinder. I dont know which one, its not bad enough to tell with a cylinder power balance test.

Fuel trims are at -6% on both banks.

Im going to check the cam timing tomorrow to make sure the belt didnt skip a tooth and do a compression test.

Anyone have any ideas for me? I got the car cheap, but not cheap enough to just give up on completely. Plus Ive already fallen in love with it.
