PostSubject: another subi question??   another subi question?? Icon_minitimeWed Dec 14, 2011 7:13 pm

Hey guys, i was asked to work on my old bosses beater. It is a Subaru Legacy wagon (non turbo). not sure on the year.. 1998-2000.. He said it needs some pressure solenoid in the transfer case.. I guess it controls the amount of pressure i makes to send drive power to the rear wheels... any one ever do this before??

is it a bitch?
about how long will this take?
any tips?

ps i will be doing this in my shop on a hoist.

Never done one but there is really no transfer case. The transmission is all one unit.

I have never done one but I assume it would just be on the vavle body. The pan is very easy to drop
