my project for the week/since i didnt do it last week.

so i gotta cage this s10 up. was already a 500hp high 10 second truck. now he's changing to a crazier engine/trans/rearend combo an wants it to be safer. so here goes. pulled the cab last friday an found the front mounts to be suspect so thats first.

yesterday was frame side

so i plasma cut these buggers out an cleaned 'em up

bent 'em over the anvil

an burned 'em on w./the mig

few cuts around the edge an some hammerin' and it looks just like the general did it

of all the things i have done/do, metal fab is by far my favorite. i cant wait to get into my new shop so i have space for all my tools & equipment to be set up properly & my ol' man around to teach me the important stuff & his tools & equipment. gonna be crazy...
