thanks guys. i had just painted it a year before the 4v swap so i wanted to protect the paint as much as possible, what better way than just remove them from the equation.

i really want to put a centri s/c or turbo, i like the look of the intake to much to just get rid of it. I'm not the guy looking to get 800hp out of a car, ive done that with a supra, i just want it very streetable with good power. This coming winter it'll prob get pulled out, again, and get some forged internals. Then the following year, maybe a power adder.

ive had the car for 8 years, im in no hurry with it lol

Yup, very nice build! I agree with JD, taking off the fenders was really a nice way to protect them. I really6 hope you come down to Madison this summer so we all can look at it.

yea, theres a lot of little stuff that obviously you can't see either. thing has been a work in progress on a budget thats for sure. and ive probably changed my mind about 10x on half the stuff. i went through i think 3 different headlight styles before i finally just settled on the smoked cobra headlight assemblies lol

Off road h-pipe
semi-built t-45
steeda tri-ax
spec stage 2 clutch
aluminum d/s
4.10's
eibach springs
steeda sway bars
FRPP strut tower brace
4v lincoln swap (running on the 2v computer and harness)
96 cobra cams
96 cobra intake
IMRC delete
EGR Delete
smoked headlights
HID's
Cobra hood

little interior stuff like replaced carpet, floor mats, center console, some handles, locks, door pins...

small update on the car.

Got the valve covers and the front cover in place, as well as the p/s, a/c, crank pulley, tensioner, and new water pump.
my pos DSC02967

working on getting the wiring all done as well, tucking as much as i can, as best i can. biggest bitch was just getting to the wires themselves
my pos DSC02971

slowly but surely tho, the wires will get hidden, just gotta get a plan together as to where i can put them without getting to much heat, and routing it where it cant be seen. still have to make a bracket for the coils, and figure out a solid place where to relocate them to. More than likely they will be getting put where the EGR stuff was.

well this is what i want the engine bay to look like with all the wires installed. this pic is WITHOUT the engine harness and spark plug wires
my pos DSC00904

this is how she turned out. I still need to fab some brackets for the coils when i relocated them, and clean up how the spark plug wires are ran, but im happy with how it turned out.

nothing too crazy to get the car running for summer, but a couple updates.

new cobra intake bolts vs mark vii intake bolt.. $60 from the dealer
my pos Null_zps875d94c2

alt bracket installed, still need the spacers, so i just used a couple nuts stacked on one another to get the right height for now
my pos Null_zps5259269c

new locations for the coil packs
my pos Null_zps8472821e

everything installed, and ready for the summer.
