| $0.02 says radio doctor. I'm telling ya...... When I modeled it up in a 5 cu ft @ 20hz ported box it was pretty damn sexy. Tuning higher looked frightening I have a three day weekend next weekend, might have to build another spare tire box I just don't want to screw up what I've got going with my stereo right now. I'm pretty damn happy with it. Franky, what are you running..... all these closet stereo people need to share | |

| Here is the first write up I found, I think this makes sense........ Unbolt driver's seat and tip it back and out of the way See the wiring harness for the Bose amp below The plug with 4 wires is where you tap into to get the music signal. Gently pull this plug out of the amp. Don't mess with the red or black. The other two wires (white with blue stripe and gray) you will tap and run wires from those to the high level input on your amp. (If you purchase an amp with a high level input, you won't need to buy a LOC) The high level input offers a less distorted signal too. In order for the amp to know to power on/off when the car is turned on/off you need to tap into the "remote signal" you find this on the the wiring harness with the blue plastic tabs. Start by gently pulling this harness out of the amp. There is a series of wires in the top half of the harness and another series on the bottom of the harness. You are looking for the solid blue wire on the bottom half of the harness. Tap into this and run it to your amp. Now run your speaker wire to your sub. | |

| Here is a little more info on the second plug. I, however don't really know what's best Expose the wire harness and get to work. The one still plugged in is the sub power and pre-outs. Here is a Bose wiring diagram I stole from another site. Maybe things change year to year because it wasn't bang on but I got it the first time using some common sense. | Ok so since my amp has a high level input next to the RCA input, can't I just use that as a source? I have a connector with bare wires on the other end for tapping the wires if that will work. | |

| The only downside of that link is that it is for a mazda 3, which does not use the bose factory system | |

| Just use the high level inputs. You got an amp power wire kit correct Try and get the good 3M wire taps, if taping is the way it is going to go. What amp did you get? | |

| ^ agreed, provided those subwoofer wires listed are high level (which I assume they are). | |

| I appreciate all the feedback on this, but I'm still gonna need to swing by and get some help. The high level input has five wires, I'm only splicing into two I think....i don't know. UNCLE | |

| Well, what I have laying around is a RF converter. Basically, you hook it into your line level outputs either at the back of the factory stereo or the factory amp, and it converts to two sets of RCA outputs. It has level controls too..... I never tried it out... but it was hooked into my aftermarket deck in my exploder when I got it... apparently they used it with the factory deck to hook up an amp for subs. If you want it, its yours. | |

| Sorry guys, I am out this weekend. I have to go back to IL to go see my grandmother in the hospital. Ill likely be there all weekend. She has pneumonia and to be honest, the prognosis is not good.
If something comes up and tusk can't help you out I can likely do it next week.
Sorry!
