| I was looking at getting some new rims for the ride. i found a great price on some but i dont want to buy new tires for them. i have two sets of 215-45-18s and i was wondering if i got a 8inch wide rim if it would fit. im sure it will stretch but how much. | |

| Yeah dude, that is some serious stretch. Mine are slightly stretched and they are 225's on 8's | |

| I would see how much traction you have after the incoming mods are completed, then decide if you want more power or more traction with the current power. I have 8 inch wide wheels on my STi and they are 245/40/17, the VR-4 has 8.5 inch and has the same (only 18s) I wish I would have gone with a 255 for the VR-4 rims. | |
