Need an engine builder

I need to find a good engine builder to tear down, prep and build a toyota inline 6 motor. Just looking to get the bottom end swapped out with forged internals and then button it back up. Anybody have suggestions?

bailey did a good job on my motor but it took FOREVER.... if you have time he could do it.... dave meister could do it and does great work. T&B performance in monro built engines for people we truck pulled with and they do good work too.

I've had Bailey do work for me in the past. He did a great job, but I had to keep on him to get my engine done.

I'm not worried about time or money. I'm going to have about 3 months to get the engine done. I just want it done right the first time.

3 months isn't very long if your talking about a slowpoke engine builder.

Not sure who to recommend, I have always built my own engines. Cool to hear you are getting on that project though!

Jim kilpatrick in Waukesha is my builder and he is well known in the mopar community for his precision.

Class One out of Freeport,Il 815-235-1350...had a couple engines done there...specializes in alot of different motors, imports one of them, ask for Terry

-5 for bailey. i had heads done there. ... they turned out fine but waayyyyy to many promises he couldnt keep and also he tried jacking the price when i got there.

Like i said bailey is SLOW AS FUCK...... take it to dave it gets done at baileys shop but done faster. Very Happy

Im not a fan of Bailey. Tom and Brenda have full boar do work for them. So just cut out the middle man and go to full boar. State of the art machinery, engine dyno, chassis dyno and great guys to work with. I would be happy to go up there with you.

3months wont be enough for baileys. had work done by him as well. no problems with the work but i was literally promised the work 6-8 times but it was delayed a few days/week each time.
