You know what might be fun...
Racing that turbo Honda.
Stips.
Both of us on a street tire. Not a drag radial or street slick. An actual street tire.
Off an ARM drop.
1/8th mile.
Winner gets a cheeseburger.

Well if I had access to the call out section I would have put it there. My apologies for furthering the off topicness.

See what I'm obviously doing here is trying to get all the advantage I can and need. The car is substantially faster than my truck. By A LOT.
The only way I have a chance is with the above stips. I am not going to be racing a 130+ trap car in my mostly stock truck. Unless I'm getting cheeseburgers either way.
But no really. First race I mentioned or notta.

I think the only way to do this is to set up two separate tourney's and do as the great Fezzik says from the princess bride!

Us dig guys understand, you roll race kids just wont admit to having a half built car.
Are you going to be out this weekend?
I dont think its going to be out this weekend.
But when its put back together I would love to see how my stock long block LTjunk does from a dig with one of those shop built DTP full blown drag cars.

so when im spinning 3rd and half of 4th its just hit the gas and go? cool. should be easy then.[/quote]
dang, your spinning 3rd and some of 4th, jmo, you need to get into a garage and get a wrench in your hand becouse you have problems. or you can't drive stick or you just have so much horse that you cant keep traction. then my question to that is:
whats the point of having all that power = $$$$ and no traction. i'm sure they make springs and shocks for your model car.
and i cant multi-quote : so i'll leave for work with this fuel on the fire.
oval racers have all the skills .
peaches : i agree on the road coarse thing.

I would like to see you make my car hook up with a 225 tire. If I ever want to run a tube front and wide fendersi might have a chance at hooking up. But I can drive my car every where and still get laid at the end of the night. That's all that matters.
