| My vote is for the 1g Talon/Eclipse. AWD, turbo, and light weight. Also one of the nicest looking cars ever if you ask me. What do you think is the best platform for a good streep/strip car?

| Three way tie for me. Fox Mustang, Fairmonts, or Fbodys. Theres a reason you see TONs of them at the track. | |

Depends on your wallet size.

| Vague question. Do you mean overall or like easy to make fast with out spending a ton of cash or so on and so on. With deep pockets you can make a lot of things into great street/strip cars.
I'd say for a street/strip car Fox Bod or FBod. Like Blackout said, there's a reason you see so many at the track.
Otherwise mkiv supra's.

| I should have mentioned budget. Consider it a nonfactor. Try to keep it reasonable though. | |

you got that 408 4 eye! inside and out! a mk4 supra is a great platform but requires huge money. vettes also a great platform but not the cheapest upfront by any means. to go full retard i would say the cheapest would be mustang or camaro but something like an evo or ecliple wouldn't be far behind. many good platforms to pick from.

Um, platform for what? 1/4 mile, road race, street...... "good street strip car" was at the end of the post but who knows. cruise missiles would probably do well? GTR? ARIEL ATOM? Koinseggggegehehgegeg CCXR? Veyron? lotus (Im sure you could fit an LS9 in there somewhere)? Zonda?
