If its a street car, why not do a 200r4 or a 700r4 and get an extra gear?

4L80E. Holds 425 ish HP in a 6500+ lb truck. More than enough trans for 450 in a 3500 lb car.

again are you going to pay for the swap? Id love to have a EFI LS3 based 427 with twin turbos and a build 4L80E but i'll just keep what i have and get it fixed
