| So the new truck started knocking very badly after about 12,000 miles. We pulled it apart and found broken rings. Someone did the worst rebuild i have ever seen at some point on this thing. We will correct all of those fucks ups, and make it stronger in the process getting started. Enigine is out. 1100lbs of scrap metal at this point. This is the hole that was making all the noise. Sweet cross hatch. Like i said, worst rebuild ever. Still has some factory cross hatch under that sweet sweet hone job. The Rottler diamond hone will take care of this mess. This one is for a 12valve, but i will coat my pistons just like this guy. What the bottom end will look like when done. | |

| Truck has been running since the end of feb. or so. Had a noisy belt issue. Took two belts, a belt tensioner, and an idler pulley to fix that. Stupid thing has an oil leak that i can't seem to find or fix. I have put two rear main seals in since the engine went back in and it still has a leak. Thinking i might have to pull the oil pan and change the pan gasket. Not sure why it would be leaking, but all the oil is coming from down low.
