Wonder how much weight reduction they did and what they took out to do it, thats very impressive for no modding and just a tune.

there was modding looks like full bolt ons aluminum driveshaft and suspension.

I would guess they were able to get 250-300 lbs out of it, between the wheels and what ever they pulled out of it.

the engine is still the same as it came from the factory. Simple bolt ons don't change the engine.

Pretty sure it still weighs more then a stock C6 Vette and I am sure it weighs more then the "King Of Cars THE ZO6"

There are no engine bolt ons! only suspension. Every gasket on the engine is factory!

Funny how the 4.6 2V & 3V car's never did much N/A but just a few weeks into the 5.0 4V and these mofo's are in the 10's. Kinda makes the GT500's pointless unless you like spending money.

so at the end of the video they have a thing that says you can buy their "power packages" custom tuning, exhaust systems, cold air intake, long tube headers, aluminum driveshafts and suspension kits. and your saying that this one is bone stock? and those are not engine bolt ons? cold air, long tubes? very impressive no doubt

The car probably weighs about 3100#. It made 413 RWHP and 385FT# of torque.

ZL3 ZO6 Weighs 3100LBS and traps high 120s with bolt-ons

A ZX 14 weighs about 600 LBS and traps in the 140's stock

A GT500 weighs around 4000 lbs and traps in the low 130's with bolt on's

Just pointing who gives a fuck what a 80K Vette runs with bolt on's. Same as who cares what a 50K GT500 runs with bolt on's, when Mustang thats starts in the low 30's can get in the 10's pretty dam easy only a few weeks after they hit the streets.

Show me a bolt on gt 500 running 130s. And as said before you can buy a z for less then 40k. I could gut the living shit out of my car too but that makes it no better then a ricer kid and his sweet motor swapped civic, yo. The wake up call for the people going to the dealership and thinking they are getting a 10 second car is coming. This is ONE car owned by a performance shop on the ragged edge of blowing up is all.

I am talking about what the cars are new , not how much you can get a used with 40,000 miles on it and 4 years old. Keep in mind lot's of mustang buyers can buy one of those on get close to that level of performance with some bolt on's and guess what they will thats why when you go to the track there are mustangs all over and a few if any ZO6's and maybe a handfull of new Camaro's and Challengers. Thats not to say that are not nice car's just not as owner friendly as the mustang and dont have nearly the aftermarket support that the mustang does. I will get a vid and time slip from a local GT500 for you if you want. So that being said show me all new camaro's running 10's n/a , or hasnst anybody tried to do it.???

Well i would like to see this mustang come close to the performance of braking and handling of the Z. And by bolt-on GT 500 we are not talking Blower swapped and weight reduction. Bolt-ons are intake, tune, pulley, exhaust. That's like saying my ZO6 is bolt ons. Like i bolted in the cam and heads and 100 shot.

I saw a 600+hp Whipple at the track trap 120 mph so i gotta see this unicorn trap 130+

Wow, thats way off! The Vette has every type of aftermarket support you can think of and its readily available. Concerning the Challenger I would agree though. Not much happening there.

ok i have an idea how about we quit shitting on the threads about the mustang. Answer a couple questions here:

Is this car bad ass? can you find another NEW car for 30K that does what this one does with the small amount of work done?

we know that the ZO6 is badass we know the LS motor is bad ass EVERYONE Knows that and has read it does it need to be hashed out in every thread that is not about the LS or ZO6? the car is bad ass for a simple bolt on car with some weight out of it.
