I also started addressing the subframe/steering rack. I was expecting to have to take it all apart and repaint/powder coat it all, but to my surprise when I clean it up a little it still looked FACTORY so all I'm replacing are the tie rod boots.

Well I got all the stuff for my brake tuck, all -an fittings, SS brake line, and my brake booster delete plate along with the Wilwood Master Cylinder.

Shit, wish I had that kind of motivation!

Okay.. well I started on the subframe.. i guess I am going to repaint it. there are a few scratches on it so I've decided to repaint it all..



Then we moved back on to the bay. I was going to just start glazing but then we decided that we didn't like how the core support looked where it dipped down by the headlights...

So we boxed it in.









Grown it down, all good to go.. Today I'll be going out to start finishing the rest all off and try and get it ready for paint.

Well got a little bit done today. Started using the Metal Glaze.. I will say, I love this stuff, you can apply it so thin, and with out ANY pin holes.

Started on the Core support. Sorry for the crappy pic.. and I didn't take any pics after I sanded it all down. but you get the idea.




Then on the the fire wall. used a thin coat on the places I welded shut.





OH and made a little creature from some metal scraps while I waited for the glaze to dry.lol.. not sure what to call it.

Well back at it like usual.. Got a little update.. Doesn't look like much but I laid down more metal glaze and sanded till I ran out of paper again. I have to go back over a few spots and do some more grinding a the shock towers on the sides. Where it is spot welded it is dented at an angle if that makes sense..so I have to grind it to make it flat.










Oh and I also got an exact matching model car of mine.. Mint, still haven't decided if I should assemble it or not.



I also made some decals at my work for something to do, plus I wanted one for my car... I might sell some, if I do I'll make a fs thread, or PM me.

and got these pics from the upholstery guy.. turned out baller I must say.. guy does amazing work. He's doing a few other pieces for me also

they make seats and probably harnesses and probably super rare reverse action jdm only signal indicators that cost 1000 dollars per blink.

I'm trying to learn all this stuff but there's a lot to it.

yeah Bride is like the best of the best, they make awesome super light seats and then sell that fabric so you can have your stock seats, door panels, headliners or whatever else done to match. guys do that with Subies and some will spend upwards of $10k on their entire interior.

Ole did you have the back seat done as well? the headliner looks awesome.

Yeah the bride stuff is crazy spendy. The material was about $200, it was $200 to wrap the headliner with him having to cut it, and seam it like he did.. I will say they guy does amazing work.

I dropped off the door panels today. I have to order more material to do the patten we decided on for the door panel inserts..

Depending on my cash situation, I plan on having the rears done as well.. But this is a lot of money..lol..

by the time I'm done with everything I'm sure I will have spent over $600 in just the bride material, thats if the guy decides that the rear seats are in good enough condition to just unstitch and reuse the side part and use the bride for the center. If not, I'll be buying the alcantara material like on the bride and recaro seats. that stuff is like $150 yard.

Well I was out at the shop for about 1hr today so I thought I'd bend a few lines.

I did the front brake lines that go to the side of the firewall, and also bent the main line that goes off the MC. I waiting on a different fitting due to how I ran the line. I had a 90° elbow and need a straight union. More pics tomorrow.

I enjoy this thread. I have a secret love for honda, cant wait to see it shaved.

Always wanted to build a teggy, but my poor ass has to maintain the saab and miata.

NO not really. Just when it gets done. I'm not really trying to rush anything.. but Ideally by Automotion and for sure by IA, since I already booked rooms and what not for it..
