| Today i checked the mail and there she was, a VF39 waiting for me. I plan on installing this tonight. Anyone feel like tearing apart a subaru tonight?
p.s. I need it back together and running by tomorrow morning, so its going to be a long night... | |

| yea ill get the gaskets tomorrow, and im going to try an get work off for the evening. I can do it at my house, heated garage, or if your garage (logan) is more convenient for you we can do it there. Id rather do your house because you have more/better tools  | |

| Wow, sounds cool, if I'm feeling better tomorrow. I can come lend a hand. It would be a great way for me to learn about turbo's Nothing helps one learn better then taking apart and reinstalling.

| When I was taking the turbo off my motor and it was on an engine stand I was thinking "jesus, how the hell do you get this off in the car?"
Have fun fellas, my subaru is starting to sound a bit worse. Time to pull the oil filter and see what is going on. Hopefully its bearings and it isn't too far gone. Compression is good.
Goddamn subaru.

| Well the turbo is on, only took 7 hours. And now i have a boost leak limiting me to ~8 pounds of boost. FML. | |
