fuel rails showed up monday/finally put /em on today!

ha! there are tons of guys running th350's these days at those power levels/im not too worried don. & brad my goal of 1,000whp is easily obtainable. tuner wants to shoot for a 1,200whp race gas tune once it has rods, pistons, studs. there are guys in the high 8's with stock weight f bodies & stock bottom end 6.0 iron blocks, thats in cars at 3,700lb race weight. theres no way my car will weigh ove 3k & i currently have 13.5 tires w./ room for 2 more inches.

I know a th350 can hold a decent amount of power but 1000+ seems steep for a th350....

we'll see... put the motor/trans back in tonight after i checked over all the welds front to back. then started the cam swap & my 3 jaw puller took a shit. might have someone bringin one by momentarily. in the meantime i stripped the rearend to finish welding all the bracketry, plumb the brakes & safety wire the rotors/calipers. gotta wait 'till next week for the new axles & spool, i have decided my current moser axles & mini spool arent up to the task.

Wow nice price on the rails and fittings. If you want a good place to get the rest of the stuff, I ordered most of my fuel fittings and hose from aeroquip.cc
Still need to do the install though

cam swapped tonight & motor buttoned back up. turns out one of the heads (pass side) looks to have been freshened or updated/weird. debating an sfi or stock f body harmonic balancer right now.

you should ditch that stock intake manifold. you are going to be so restricted by that. build motor? otherwise stock balancer. what cam?

You doing twins or a single on it?? What turbo or turbo's are you going to run?

seen a number of setups that work pretty well with the ls1/6 mamifold. this is a stock lq4 block, rotating assy. and heads, ls6 cam & intake bought as take offs from a local tuner. turbos will be twins hence the headers (if i was going single turbo the truck manifolds work very well w./a y pipe) i have t3/t4 50's to start with. once that works we'll upgrade from there.

i figure 3-4 more nights of this & ill be ready to pull wiring harness, plumb the fuel system & brakes, not in a row unfortunately

prob not this year don, itll be a 6.0 w./9.0:1, 317 heads, zo6 cam & nitrous fogger setup. but who knows how fast youre gonna be if its not fast enough everything is here to twin turbo it

figured out what i have for fittings & line & what i need. calling summit tonight & putting the rest on the card=fuel system complete tue/wed.




goin back to the sheetmetal shop later in the week to get the firewall & floor in then this coming weekend will be wiring...

confused.. why the upward/forward facing headers?
