ordered the other ss 5 bolt turbo exhaust flange, diff. silicone rad. bends & diff. cold side piping this morning (hopefully they fig out my discharge eccentic rings & v-band clamps), turbos placed, radiator mounted, body harness strung, fuse box & switch panel mounted, looked at the wastegates (new tial mvs 38's!) shits gonna happen...



manifold to turbo pipes in the a.m. possibly & more body harness tomorrow night, order some more fuel system fittings friday.

dave came out & made templates for all the cage plates tonight & they look titties! im gonna cut them out at joes tomorrow night at the sheetmetal shop. i would say his will be easily the nicest cage in town of its "style".

no pic tonight of my shit/i figure it doesnt look much diff than the last two pics. maniflods/turbos done/theyre in the car. gotta do wastegate flanges in the a.m. & charge pipes from the turbos to the i/c. also gonna finish the i/c to t/b 4" pipe & bead roll all the ends at joes when i cut daves plates tomorrow night. the rest of the flanges, tubing, silicone couplers & clamps showed up fed ex this aft. more body harness done tonight also/switch panel terminated to the fuse box, rear section ran. gonna terminate the tail lights tomorrow night. prob order the rest of the fuel fittings tomorrow or sat at the latest so we can plumb the fuel system & start this fucker next week. once i find injectors the countdown begins

Are those two different turbos? One looks like it has a polished compressor housing and the other one doesnt

thanks, & intercooler is almost perfect, lamost. if it was 1" wider, 1/2" thicker & 3" taller i would be really happy. cant beat the price though, this one is rated to 1,200hp whatever that means...

they are exactly the same turbo but one has a polished compressor housing. i have extra compressor housings though & will be changing the polished one out. they will be powder coated semi gloss black when my 3X3X6'6" oven shows up fri or sat. wheels & cold side piping are also going to powder coated semi gloss black. i plan on ceramic coating all the hot side & exhaust semi gloss black too. should have a really black theme to it.

ya know i never put pics of things ive done as my desktop image but when this is done, an underhood shot just may be worthy. in all honesty the inspiration under the hood of this is an lsx version of what nelson racing does. check them out if you havent already.

i/c & radiator will be black also of course, my goal is no billet & no chrome anywhere. kinda regretting the blue cold side couplers & dont want to spend the loot to get black replacements just yet, maybe later on.

cold side woulda been done today but ran outta gas for the tig machine at 5 this afternoon hopefully airgas is open in the morning. lookin at buyin new injectors of the 80lb variety next week = set to kill

cold side tig'd up today! then took everything over to joes to bead roll the ends. came back & put it all together! so wiring is @ halfway done, prob do the exhaust next week & finish it up.
